Logo Design for a non-profit company providing aid to Russia.
We volunteered to help design a new logo for a non-profit company who work in and around Russia offering support and help to a wide range of clients including children, the disabled and old people. Below is part of the brief…..
Our current image has developed more by accident than by design. Although some of our existing members like the rather home-spun approach, which they associate with low admin costs, we want to expand our fundraising into new areas and feel the need for a more united, professional look. With a clean, simple logo, we will be able to carry on appealing to our core members as we update our corporate image. Our website gives a good idea of the range of our work. We have identified our core qualities as follows:
- SGF is non-partisan in every sense (religion, ethnicity, politics).
- We help the helpers.
- Helping the disenfranchised.
- Focussed on a range of clients including children, the disabled and old people.
We have used a mid-blue for headings on our website and our letterhead, but again, this is not an essential. The main colour to avoid, for obvious reasons, is Communist red. We would like the logo to use just one colour (possibly in addition to black), and to be useable in black and white. The website is the part of our communications that we are most happy with visually (although a few problems need to be ironed out for some browsers on some pages). The clean, simple look has gone down well with our members and numbers of new visitors has increased since the recent re-design.

Nice work. It’s very generous of you to donate your expert service freely like this. And the design that you have delivered is outstanding.

I love this logo – it symbolizes for me “take care”. Great work and admirable that you did it for free

I’m liking it. It’s simple, semi – abstract, yet shows humanism and compassion. Very well done. I hope my friends that are starting fundcures.com will consider you for their logo design!
